Vietnam International Ethnic Folklore Festival is the unique recreational and non-commercial festival, one-of-a-kind in the world of dance and music. It is characterized by the unique format of the event, variety of performing arts and performing features of performances, from all corners of the Globe,

openness to the new, combination of entertainment and high artistic level of participant's performance where the cultures of the World UNITE in Ho Chi Minh City.

The Festival showcases 5–7 international dance and music ensembles with 30–40 national ensembles. The festival will be a highlight of Ho Chi Minh City's cultural diversity and it expects an exceptional line-up that brings together more than 400 artists and attracts a crowd of over 10,000 spectators at some of the largest venues and auditoriums in Ho Chi Minh City.

IEFF VIETNAM celebrates the glory of world performing arts on Vietnam stages with a theme of Let's Dance for world peace along with Vietnam Tourism of Ho Chi Minh, Da Lat, Mekong Delta, Vung Tau, Mui Ne, Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Ha Long Bay

  • We welcome artistic groups of all ages, along with their families and friends, to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
  • Direct flights to Ho Chi Minh - Tan Son Nhat International Airport (SGN-Airport).
  • Comfortable hotel accommodation with high standards of hygiene and authentic Vietnamese cuisine will be provided throughout the festival.
  • Convenient and friendly program schedules.
  • Internal transport will be provided in comfortable Volvo buses.
  • Each participant will be awarded an Honorary Diploma of Festival. A Festival Trophy to the group leader.
  • The organizers will send you soft copy of group performances with photos & Videos from the festival program.
  • Traditional Vietnamese dress (Áo Dài) photo sessions.
  • Exploring different cuisines of Vietnam including traditional buffet meals, local specialties and regional dishes.
  • Explore more than 10 iconic attractions in Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Exploring the different local markets of Ho Chi Minh to explore the lifestyles of local people.
  • The festival organizers will select 5–7 outstanding dance and music groups from around the world based on their artistic excellence.
  • Styles : Festival is open to all dance and music groups of any style: Folk Dances (More preferable), Theatres, Classical, Contemporary, Latin, Ball room, Street, Modern Social, Oriental, Fusion Dances, Choirs, Brass Bands, Orchestras & majorettes.

    Age : 7 to 70+ years.

    Group Size: 5 to 50+ participants (no upper limit).

    Music : Groups are allowed to perform on live or recorded music.

    Travel : Round-trip flight tickets and travel health insurance are the responsibility of the participating group.

    Accommodation : The festival provides 3-star and 4-star hotel accommodation according to the package selected by each group.

    Food : Three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) will be provided daily. Participants will enjoy a variety of Vietnamese cuisine, including buffet meals, local specialties and regional dishes prepared according to international hospitality standards.

    Performance : Groups should perform three different dance/music items, each lasting 10–15 minutes, once per day at the designated venues.

    Competition : Festival participants can only take part in the competition, which will be held on one day during the festival for an additional entry fee.

  • Only Festival Participants can take part in the festival Competition where they need to pay extra Competition entry fee.
  • The competition is open to dance and music groups of all styles.
  • Group Members :Solos, duets and trios to Groups.

    Group Members :Should be of minimum 5 members to no limit.

    Performance :Groups: 5 minutes; Solos, duets and trios: one performance of up to 2.5 minutes.

    Competition Participation fees :

    All Competitors should pay the participation fee along with the Accommodation packages

  • Groups Category: 60EUR
  • Solos, Duet, Trios etc: 25 EUR (€5 extra for additional member up to 5 members)
  • Winners Cash prizes :

  • Groups Category: 200€, 100€, 50€ along with Trophies and Diplomas.
  • Solos, Duet, Trios etc : 100€, 50€ along with Trophies and Diplomas.
  • Jury :

  • The jury evaluates participants in accordance with the competition regulations. It consists of three highly skilled professionals, and its decision shall be final.
  • At the jury's discretion, additional Gold, Silver and Bronze medals may be awarded along with the relevant diplomas for outstanding choreography and costumes.
  • Venues for performances will include open-air stages, theaters, halls, Auditoriums, the parades through the central street- Ho Chi Minh City, and scenic spots without special stage facilities or lighting equipment.
  • Groups should attend the rehearsal on time.
  • Groups should provide 1 workshop in the festival. Group should actively participate in the discussion forums.
  • The group has to take part in all programs. During the festival period, the groups have no right to cancel any performance.
  • Every member of the group, has to have Travel Insurance which should include your medical and accidental coverage during the period of the festival.
  • Each group will be accompanied by one IEFF host throughout the festival.
  • Each group should bring two national flags of their country and three or four gifts for cultural exchange.
  • Groups will be allotted one day during the festival for the Ho Chi Minh City sightseeing. (Monument Entry fee should be paid by the participant)
  • Other expenses, such as beverages, laundry, room service, long distance calls etc. shall be borne by the individual of the group.
  • Smoking and drinking alcohol at venues or in buses is highly prohibited.
  • Organizers have the right to change the program schedules at any time.
  • Groups should follow the instructions from the organizer, inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated in any way.
