POLAND

Folkloristic Group "Wielkopolanie"

The Folkloristic Group "Wielkopolanie" is a renowned Polish ensemble founded in 1962 in Poznań. They specialize in cultivating the vibrant musical, vocal, and dance traditions of the Greater Poland (Wielkopolska) region, while also performing Polish national dances and regional programs.

They preserve the unique folklore of Wielkopolska subregions like Szamotuły and Biskupizna, as well as Bambry (former German settlers in Poznań).Their expansive repertoire includes Poland’s national dances: the Polonaise, Mazur, Krakowiak, Oberek, and Kujawiak.

Their performances feature traditional regional instruments, including dudy (Wielkopolska bagpipes), kozioł (wedding goat), and maryna. The ensemble has traveled to 67 countries across five continents, participating in major events like the EXPO.

Alongside concerts, they are heavily engaged in cultural education. They host school programs and the "Forge of Tradition" workshops to teach youth regional customs, dialects, and traditional folk instruments.

INDIA

Dynamic Flickers Dance Academy

The Dynamic Flickers Dance Academy (DFD), based in Ranipool, Gangtok, Sikkim, is a renowned dance academy led by choreographers Passang Sherpa and Dilu Tamang. The academy is recognized for its energetic performances, innovative choreography, and achievements, including winning the prestigious Golden Feet Dance Competition. DFD Academy is known for blending contemporary dance with the rich folk traditions of Sikkim and Nepal. The group regularly performs at major cultural events such as Sikkim Utsav, Madhavpur Mela, and Statehood celebrations, while also participating in social awareness campaigns through creative dance performances.

The academy trains dancers of all age groups through junior and senior programs, offering instruction in multiple dance styles. Through workshops, Summer Dance Camps, and fitness programs, DFD continues to nurture young talent while promoting the cultural heritage of Sikkim on regional and national platforms.

MALAYSIA

Malaysia Arts School of Sabah

The group is from a specialised public arts secondary school under the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM). Located in Sandakan, Sabah, it nurtures young artistic talent alongside standard academic curricula. It is one of only a few dedicated national art schools across Malaysia.

The institution is designed to act as a cultural incubator, developing young talents into professional artists, cultural ambassadors, and future leaders of the creative industries in Malaysia.

The school hosts annual major showcases, such as the Konsert Kemilau Anak Seni, to highlight student productions.

Guangzhou Talent Choir

Founded in December 2020 with the strong support of leaders from all walks of life and the Guangzhou International Exchange and Cooperation Center, "Guangdong Overseas Returnee and Talent Chorus" is directed by Dr. Vakulishyna Victoria and conducted by Wei Zhong..

Chorus consists of a group of overseas returnees and talents from all walks of life who love choral art. The main purpose of the chorus is to build a bridge for cultural exchange, entertainment, and integration among all walks of life, add new cultural momentum, and serve the spiritual civilization of a harmonious society.

Since its establishment, the chorus has made a breakthrough in activities such as "Guangdong Hundred Songs to Sing China" during the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the "Guangdong Longjiang Chinese Culture Festival Chorus Competition" and the "Guangdong Fifth Acapella Chorus Competition”, “Macau Cantata International Competition” and has won many awards.

Samdang Silpa Art & Cultural Ensemble

Founded in 2011 by Dr. Duangnapa Srinuntawong, Samdang Silpa Art & Cultural Ensemble is a Thai contemporary art and cultural group based at Silpakorn University in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand. The ensemble is dedicated to promoting Thailand’s rich cultural heritage through traditional Thai music, classical dance, folk performances, and contemporary artistic expressions.

Over the years, the group has participated in numerous international festivals and cultural events, representing Thailand and sharing its unique artistic traditions with audiences around the world. Its performances combine the elegance of traditional Thai arts with modern creativity, creating distinctive and engaging presentations.

Through cultural exchange, Samdang Silpa aims to preserve Thai heritage while building friendship, understanding, and stronger connections between nations.

SRI LANKA

Vinyasaa Academy of Fine Arts

The Group was initiated in 2010 with twelve talented young artists; most of them are undergraduates of national universities of Sri Lanka following their Bachelors Degree in Performing Arts. Today, the ensemble has more than 300 members belongs to different age groups.

The academy focuses on helping Sri Lankan youth channel their creativity, master traditional and contemporary dance forms, and participate in international cultural exchange programs.

MALAYSIA

Sebastiar Group of Tamil Arts Malaysia

A cultural organization and academy dedicated to preserving, promoting, and training youth in traditional Tamil folk arts, martial arts, and performance culture within Malaysia. The organization instructs students in Silambattam (staff martial arts), Parai Attam (drumming), and Nayandi Melam (folk music). They frequently partner with institutions like Tanjavur Tamil University in India for intensive cultural training. The ultimate focus of the group is to build discipline, creativity, and cultural pride among Malaysian Indian youth.

Led and guided by figures like Dr. Iruthiyam Sebastiar, the organization serves as a critical pillar for the Malaysian Indian community by keeping classical and folk arts alive across generations.

Estonian Dance Ensemble “SÕLEKE”

The Estonian Dance Ensemble "Sõleke" is the largest folk dance group for children and young people in Estonia. Established in 1976 and based at the Tallinn Hobby Centre "Kullo," it features a massive network of over 250 members spanning ages 4 to 40

While the ensemble trains dancers in a variety of styles, Estonian folk dance is the primary focus of the group. Their performances celebrate Estonian culture, heritage, and history through precise, vibrant choreography and traditional costumes. Functioning as both a dance company and an educational school, Sõleke develops performers across multiple age brackets. Over its multi-decade history, it has served as a launchpad for dozens of professional dancers, choreographers, directors, and dance educators.

SILNAG Dance Troupe

SILNAG Dance Troupe is the official dance group of San Nicolas National High School in Ilocos Norte, Philippines, under the school’s Special Program in the Arts (SPA) – Dance Arts. Composed of talented student-dancers, the troupe showcases Filipino culture through dynamic performances inspired by stories, traditions, legends, and historical events.

The name “SILNAG,” meaning “light” or “radiance,” represents the troupe’s mission to let Filipino culture shine through dance. Having participated in local, national, and international festivals and competitions, SILNAG is committed to developing young artists while promoting discipline, creativity, teamwork, cultural pride, and heritage preservation through meaningful and engaging performances.

Kōkō Tangiwai

Kōkō Tangiwai is an elite, competitive kapa haka rōpū (Māori performing arts group) proudly based in Ōtautahi (Christchurch), Te Waipounamu. Founded in 2024 by Junior and Kerrie-Anna Tana, the group draws its name and identity from kōkō tangiwai—a deeply prized, translucent variety of South Island pounamu (greenstone). This name anchors the performers to their southern roots and symbolizes the strength, clarity, and cultural pride they bring to the stage.

Driven by a passion for preserving Te Ao Haka (the Māori performing arts), this dynamic rōpū seamlessly blends traditional ancestral knowledge with modern theatrical innovation. Through a powerful fusion of explosive haka, intricate synchronized poi, and rich melodic choral harmonies, Kōkō Tangiwai creates unforgettable, high-energy storytelling experiences.
